Class Attire
In keeping with the traditions of classical ballet, girls must wear their hair fastened securely in a bun on the back of the head for all classes. Boys’ hair must be neatly combed. Do not wear jewelry in class (earrings, watches, rings, necklaces, bracelets, etc.). Leg warmers and other extraneous pieces of attire are not allowed without prior permission from the instructor. Please do not purchase velcro tap shoes. Instead, purchase the regular tap shoes, take out the ribbon, and sew elastic through the holes. You can also purchase Tap Ties from the Dancer's Closet, CDA's in-house store. Please note the underwear is not meant to be worn with leotards and tights.
