Holiday Performance
Each December, CDA presents a holiday performance. This is a great way for you as parents to see the progress of each student. For many students, this is their first opportunity to perform on a stage. In order to keep costs down, the costume for this performance is a CDA holiday t-shirt.
Spring Recital
On April 28th, the studio will hold their annual recital: a special time for the students to perform for their families. Each year we pick a family-firendly, age-appropriate recital theme. This 2-hour production provides each student with the opportunity to perform in costume, in front of a large enthusiastic audience and feel like the star of the show! The 2012 Spring Recital, "Touring America", will be held April 28th at Morton Ranch High School in Katy, Texas (see map below). Show #1 (preschool classes) starts at 1:00 PM and Show #2 starts at 4:00 PM (levels 1 and up). The dress rehearsal for Show #2 starts Friday, April 27th at 5:30pm.

Community Service
Each year, CDA Students have an opportunity for community service. Recently we have visited retirement homes in the surrounding area and provide entertainment for the residents. Our performing company danced at a disaster relief concert benefitting tsunami victims in Japan. Students who participate in these performances learn valuable lessons in compassion and community service. All of these performance opportunities are available to all CDA students, regardless of age and ability level.
