Holiday Performance
Each December, CDA presents a holiday performance. This is a great way for you as parents to see the progress of each student. For many students, this is their first opportunity to perform on a stage. In order to keep costs down, the costume for this performance is a CDA holiday t-shirt.
Details: The Holiday Performance will be on December 1st at Crosspoint Community Church. Showtimes to be announced.
Spring Recital
On April 27 & 28th, the studio will hold its annual recital: a special time for the students to perform for their families. Each year we pick a family-friendly, age-appropriate recital theme. This 2-hour production provides each student with the opportunity to perform in costume, in front of a large enthusiastic audience and feel like the star of the show! The 2013 Spring Recital will be held April 27 and 28th at Morton Ranch High School in Katy, Texas (see map below). Dress rehearsal for all shows will be held on April 26th. Rehearsal packets and information will be sent out via email. Be sure to accept Connolly Dance Arts as one of your contacts so you will be sure to receive all information. Please read through these packets carefully as your child may be in more than one show.
Recital Pictures are scheduled for the two weekends prior to the recital. Check your email for information!

Community Service
Each year, CDA Students have an opportunity for community service. Recently we have visited retirement homes in the surrounding area and provide entertainment for the residents. Our performing company danced at a disaster relief concert benefitting tsunami victims in Japan. Students who participate in these performances learn valuable lessons in compassion and community service. All of these performance opportunities are available to all CDA students, regardless of age and ability level.
